No one knows better than a fellow CAO how it feels to be in your shoes. OMAA has created a culture of confidential peer support so you can benefit from open communication with thoughtful and experienced likeminded individuals. All Association events incorporate networking opportunities for CAOs and Aspiring CAOs to interact, share some war stories, and learn from each other.

CAO Connections Luncheons
OMAA brings together CAOs and Aspiring CAOs for conversation and connection at locations across Ontario.
These smaller interactive gatherings offer different opportunities for professional development, exchanges and socializing.

OMAA Member Requests
Seek suggestions, advice, and copies of materials from those who have “been there and done that”.
"OMAA Member Requests" allow members to request a special distribution across the Association membership base on subjects that make a difference in your world. Any member can ask a question or submit a request for sample documents or a unique project you are designing. Got the experience to share? Provide a response to help out a fellow CAO.
Recognition for your efforts
The OMAA Awards program honours the contributions of its members based on length of service. The unique OMAA Long Service Recognition Awards recognizes length of service spent in the role of a CAO.
OMAA also awards the Robert Baldwin Award, Ontario's highest award for municipal public service.
Ongoing OMAA Communication
Regular e-Newsletters and communiques keep members on top of association activities, services, and opportunities for the Ontario CAO. Key messages from other organizations such as AMO, MPAC, and PSHSA ensure busy CAOs remain well informed.
